Small Animal Internships

The Vets Now small animal internships are designed for qualified veterinary surgeons, particularly new or recent graduates.

The programme serves as an excellent foundation for those wishing to pursue specific discipline specialist training in the future, or those keen to experience front-line work in emergency medicine.

Interns have the opportunity to work under the close supervision of some the UK’s top veterinary specialists across the Vets Now network including emergency and critical care, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging and oncology.

Interns will experience a diverse caseload and have both direct and indirect case management including opportunities for emergency and general practice surgery. Teaching is an essential component of the internship, with weekly didactic seminars and lectures, which will augment the clinical experience.  There is also the opportunity for extensive in-house CPD.

We are now accepting applications for our 2018 internship programme at our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospitals in Glasgow and Manchester. Apply online now or contact a member of our recruitment team on 01383 841181.
