Veterinary Surgeon Jobs – Gillingham

Highly competitive salary & benefits package

Looking for flexibility in the New Year?

Emergency and Critical Care doesn’t mean you have to work night shifts

With Gillingham’s new and unique rota patterns you can enjoy the thrill of ECC without working 15-hour night shifts.

We have created a clinic-specific solution that combines the adrenaline rush of emergency and critical care with the flexibility of working during the day or into the evening. Perfect for those who aren’t night owls, or like having chunks of time off to pursue their own interests outside of work.

Work only 2 weekends a month? Work 1 week on, 1 week off? At Vets Now Gillingham you can. The choice is yours.

Working as an out-of-hours vet surgeon isn’t for the faint hearted. The unpredictable caseload is diverse and the unsocial hours can be challenging. Yet, Vets Now are offering new, sustainable and unique rota patterns. You can work only 2 weekends a month, no night shifts and only 4 bank holiday shifts per year.

Alternatively, if you prefer working in chunks, we can offer you a 1 week on, 1 week off pattern, including 4 bank holidays per year, each shift finishing at midnight.

Great place to work

Recognising hard work is really important to us. As well as providing a competitive package of rewards and benefits, we also take pride in celebrating our successes. This includes hosting an annual awards ceremony for those who have exceeded expectations. Clinical staff are also encouraged to attend our annual ECC Congress, the largest in the UK, which features an array of internationally accredited speakers, delegates and exhibitors.
