Thrive on saving lives and making a lasting difference? At Vets Now Salisbury you can

Let’s be honest, working nights and weekends isn’t for everyone.  The unsocial hours are challenging and the caseload is unpredictable.  That’s why we need a certain calibre of Vet Surgeon to work for Vets Now Salisbury. We expect the best and won’t settle for anything less.

Delivering high standards

The Salisbury veterinary team are motivated by driving clinical excellence and providing pet care at a time when it’s needed most.  Being a vet surgeon will involve triage, emergency and lifesaving treatment.  No two shifts will ever be the same.  If you’re looking for routine operations and daytime hours, this isn’t the job for you.

Stand out from the crowd

With a vet surgeon role at Vets Now, you can nurture your skills with coaching from our UK network of veterinary experts.  We pride ourselves in actively investing in CPD, with clear progression opportunities supported by our inclusive learning culture.  We make a real impact on the wider profession by driving clinical research and, by joining the Vets Now family, you will be at the forefront of clinical excellence.

You’ll never be alone at Vets Now

Our supportive UK network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country.  Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a MRCVS registered veterinary surgeon to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings.  The rota is shared with two other vets.  It will involve a mixture of weekend days and nights, weekday nights, plus a share of bank holidays.  In our Salisbury clinic, you will have access to a lactate meter, blood gas electrolyte and critical care (Epoc) and coagulation (QuickVet) analysers, providing rapid and accurate results within minutes and a separate isolation facility.
