Thrive on saving lives and making a lasting difference? At Vets Now Chippenham you can.

We are at the forefront of emergency and critical care, making a real difference and saving the lives of pets each and every day.  Working as an emergency vet surgeon will expose you to a diverse range of cases that you simply won’t see in general practice.

Continuous development

People are at the heart of what we do, that’s why we take a pioneering approach to people development. We have cemented our commitment to continuous development by heavily investing in CPD, ECC certification and coaching to give our staff the springboard they need to take their career to the next level.

Out-of-hours doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-reach

The Chippenham veterinary team are motivated by driving clinical excellence and providing pet care at a time when it’s needed most.  Chippenham is recently refurbished with no shortage of toys to use on shift.  Being a vet surgeon will involve triage, emergency and lifesaving treatment.  No two shifts will ever be the same.

You will be fully supported by our nursing experts and non-clinical team.  The wider network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country.  Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.

Diverse and exciting caseload

We are looking for a MRCVS registered veterinary surgeon to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings, especially during busy nights and weekends.  If you’re looking for routine operations and daytime hours, this isn’t the job for you.  We can offer full time or part time work to suit your lifestyle.
