Working as an emergency vet surgeon will expose you to a diverse range of cases that you simply won’t see in general practice. Although confidence with sole charge is a must, Vets Now have a strong support network, in and out of clinic, and there’s always somewhere to seek advice. In Bradford, you will be fully supported by an expert nursing team and coached by our district vet who will oversee your professional and career development.

The Bradford veterinary team are motivated by driving clinical excellence and providing exceptional pet care at a time when it’s needed most. The team welcomes approximately 3500 cases per year (mixture of private and PDSA) which allows the opportunity to investigate diverse problems with full array of laboratory equipment and diagnostic imaging.

Protected rolling rota pattern
Being an incredibly busy clinic, this job in Bradford would be ideal for a Vet Surgeon who can think on their feet and thrive in an adrenaline-fuelled emergency environment. On average, our Vets work 14 shifts per month (15 hours in duration) and the protected six week rolling rota pattern features a mixture of weekend days, weekend nights and weekday nights (2:3 weekends).
