Part Time Veterinary Nurse Jobs – Gillingham
Highly competitive salary & benefits package
Thrive in emergency and critical care with no night work? At Vets Now Gillingham you can.
Let’s be honest, working as an out-of-hours emergency registered vet nurse is challenging. The caseload is unpredictable and the unsocial hours are long. Yet, Vets Now are offering exposure to ECC on a weekend and bank holiday only basis. Ideal for those nurses looking for a second job or a break from the monotony of day practice.
One in two weekends
We have created a clinic-specific rota that combines the adrenaline rush of ECC with the flexibility of only working weekend and a share of bank holiday dayshifts. Our unique shift pattern includes working 1 in 2 weekends - 1200-1900 on a Saturday and 0900-1900 on a Sunday and 4 out of 8 bank holidays. Alternatively, one nurse can fill all of the hours if they opt to work every weekend.
No night work
We take pride and integrity in the work that we do and that’s why we are committed to investing in the career progression of our people. In return for your talent and commitment, we offer a CPD package which can be allocated to various courses including enrolment on the accredited Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care. We also cover VDS and RCVS fees from day one.
