Veterinary Nurse Job – Reading

Total salary package up to £36,500 DOE

The unsocial hours aren’t for everyone and the unpredictable caseload will fully utilise your extensive skill set in this exciting and incredibly rewarding business.

You’ll never be alone

You will never be alone at Vets Now. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, our UK wide team work in collaboration to ensure we can offer the best emergency and critical care. You will be fully supported and mentored in Reading by our Principal Nurse Manager, Sophie Bedford, who is recognised and respected as an expert in her field.

Career development

We are committed to investing in the career progression of our people. In return for your talent and commitment, we offer a generous CPD allowance with various courses on also on offer; including enrolment on the accredited Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care. For those more experienced candidates, support is available to gain the VTS (ECC). We will also cover VDS and RCVS fees.

Working nights and weekends? Yes, but you won’t get the diverse caseload anywhere else

Our vastly experienced Veterinary Team in Reading are motivated by driving clinical excellence. They provide pet care  at a time when it is needed most. With a busy, private caseload, we are looking for a MRCVS registered Veterinary Nurse to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings.  If you're looking  for routine operations and daytime hours Monday to Friday, this isn't the job for you. Candidates seeking part time may also be considered.
