Veterinary Nurse Job – Farnham
Total package up to £35,000 per annum DOE
Make a difference and be the Vet Nurse you trained to be
Let’s be honest, working as an out-of-hours emergency nurse is challenging. With unsociable hours and a diverse range of cases, a career in emergency and critical care will fully test your skills. Yet with unpredictability comes opportunity. With a Vet Nurse role at Vets Now you will be exposed to cases you simply wouldn’t experience in general practice.
You’ll never be alone at Vets Now
Our supportive UK network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now. You will be fully supported and mentored in Farnham by our Principal Nurse Manager, Kath Howie, who is recognised and respected as an expert in her field.
Stand out from the crowd
We take pride and integrity in the work that we do and that’s why we are committed to investing in the career progression of our people. In return for your talent and commitment, we offer a generous CPD allowance, with various courses on offer including enrolment on the accredited Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care. For those more experienced candidates, support is available to gain the VTS (ECC). We will also cover VDS and RCVS fees.
Farnham is a very busy clinic and we’re looking for a registered veterinary nurse to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings, especially during busy nights and weekends. Working hours will be a mixture of weekday nights, weekend nights and weekend days on a six week rolling rota – you will never work more than three nightshifts in a row.
If you’re looking for routine operations and daytime hours, this isn’t the job for you.
