Make a difference and be the Vet Nurse you trained to be
It take a certain calibre of vet nurse to thrive in the challenging world of emergency and critical care. The unsocial hours aren’t for everyone and the unpredictable caseload can be difficult to navigate. However, it’s exciting and incredibly rewarding…you’re saving lives every single day.
Out-of-hours doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-reach
You will be fully supported by our vet surgeons, Principal Nurse Manager and non-clinical team. The wider network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.
People are at the heart of what we do, that’s why we take a pioneering approach to people development. We have cemented our commitment to continuous development by heavily investing in CPD, ECC certification and coaching to give our staff the springboard they need to take their career to the next level. We will also cover VDS and RCVS fees.
Caterham is a fantastic veterinary clinic based in an old army barracks and is equipped with an x-ray, scopes, ultrasound scan, separate dog and cat wards, incubators and a large waiting room. We are looking for a registered veterinary nurse to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings, especially during busy nights and weekends.
If you’re looking for routine operations and daytime hours, this isn’t the job for you.
