Surgical Veterinary Nurse Job – Glasgow

We have an opportunity available for an exceptional Surgical Veterinary Nurse to join the team in our Glasgow hospital on a 12 month fixed term contract. The main purpose of this role will be to assist with surgical procedures, administer nursing care to animals, promote client communication and work within the terms of the RCVS Guide to professional conduct for nurses.

You will be supported by a very experienced team and work alongside our diplomat surgeons in both orthopaedics & soft tissue. In this role you will typically see 10+ orthopaedic, 10+ soft tissue and 5+ emergency cases in a week.

In return for your talent and commitment, we offer a CPD allowance of £750 per annum which can be allocated to various courses including enrolment on the accredited Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care.
