The Vets Now internship programme is designed for highly motivated Veterinary graduates who wish to expand their skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of surgical practice.

The internship position is suitable as a foundation for those wishing to pursue specific surgical specialist training in the future, or those keen to increase their knowledge and experience for a return to general practice.

Our Interns have the opportunity to work under the close supervision of outstanding Veterinary Specialists across our network, in the following services:

  • Soft tissue surgery

  • Orthopaedic surgery

  • Emergency and critical care medicine

  • Diagnostic imaging

Other referral services available at Glasgow are:

  • Internal medicine

  • Oncology

Applicants must be:

  • RCVS registered
  • A minimum of 1 year qualified working in a small animal position or have completed a 1 year rotating internship

Rota pattern: – Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
