Senior Veterinary Surgeon Job – Edinburgh (maternity leave)
Salary package up to £62,000 per annum DOE pro-rata

With Vets Now, a Senior Vet will have a clear progressive pathway to success. From accredited ECC certification support to clinical research studies, we will support you in taking control of your own career development and help nurture your skills. You will also have the ability to shape the careers of emerging talent through coaching and mentoring. Available from February 2018, this fixed term vacancy presents an ideal opportunity to step into a management without long-term commitment concerns and gain experience through working only eight or nine shifts per month.
Out-of-hours doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-reach
The Edinburgh clinic is fully staffed with a supportive team of vets and nurses. The entire team deals with approximately ten cases per night - a mixture of both private and PDSA. The wider network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.
