Roving Veterinary Surgeon Job
£70,000 pro rata - three to twelve month contracts available
Strive to be the best and reach the top of the veterinary profession
Working as an out-of-hours Roving Vet Surgeon isn’t for the faint hearted. The unsocial hours are challenging, the caseload is unique and travelling between clinics is demanding. That’s why we need a certain calibre of surgeon to work for Vets Now - we expect the best and won’t settle for anything less.
The role will entail working in our clinics in Farnham, Guildford, Reading, Staines, High Wycombe, Hemel Hempstead and Luton. Therefore, we require a MRCVS registered vet that thrives in an ever-changing environment and relishes being mobile.
Stand out from the crowd
Vets Now have revolutionised the way emergency veterinary care is provided. Since 2001, we have grown to become the UK’s leading provider of emergency and critical care, thanks in part to the dedication and clinical excellence of our clinic teams.
Great place to work
Recognising hard work is really important to us. Our employees are our greatest asset which is why we offer a first class benefits and rewards package that could include 6.6 weeks annual leave, pension contributions, professional membership, free holiday accommodation in Arran, 50% discounted staff pet care, death in service of two times annual salary, membership of employee wellbeing programme, company sick pay scheme, company maternity, paternity and adoption pay scheme and your birthday as a day off.
Out-of-hours doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-reach
You will fully supported by our District Vet, Principal Vets, nursing experts and clinical support teams in every clinic. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.
