Vets Now Swindon are now seeking a Part Time Receptionist who will be a pivotal members of the team.  As a Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our clients when they enter the clinic in an emergency situation, so it's important that you are calm, patient and caring.  This is a challenging role dealing with distressed pet owners who will be looking to you for reassurance. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy environment to a high clinical standard to ensure our clients are as welcomed as can be. You will also be required to take payments, deal with insurance paperwork and answer emergency phone calls.

Qualifications & Skills

You will be an organised Receptionist, who is IT literate and a calm and confident communicator. Experience in a veterinary practice is preferred but not essential.

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 2:00pm with two weekend shifts per month Saturday and Sunday from 08:00am to 2:00pm

You will be required to work a share of bank holidays which can include Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.


£7.47 per hour
