Principal Nurse Manager Job – Wrexham
Make a difference, save lives every day!
Our Principal staff are clinicians first and foremost. You will keep your own surgical skills on point and mentor and develop your team so that you are all delivering the clinical excellence that Vets Now is known for. Not only do they support and nurture Registered Veterinary Nurses, our Principal Nurse Managers also manage the support team of Animal Care Assistants and Receptionists.
Delivering high standards in clinical excellence
We plan to open our Wrexham clinic in March 2018 and are looking to build a team of veterinary professionals to lead from the front in delivering emergency and critical care at a time when its needed most and ensuring clinical excellence is maintained at all times.
People are our core
In return for your talent and commitment, we offer a generous CPD allowance, with various courses on offer including enrolment on the accredited Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care. For those more experienced candidates, support is available to gain the VTS (ECC). We will also cover VDS and RCVS fees.
Out-of-hours doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-reach
Our supportive UK network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. In Wrexham, you will be fully supported by your district manager and expert vet surgeons. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.
We are looking for a MRCVS registered veterinary nurse to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings, especially during busy nights and weekends. The rota pattern involves working two out of three weekends, with shifts compiled of weekend days, weekend nights and weekday nights (average 12-15 shifts a month). As expected with the nature of the role and a new clinic opening, we are looking for exceptional candidates only.
