Part Time Veterinary Surgeon Jobs – Portsmouth
Total package up to £60,000 DOE pro rata
Working weekends? Yes, but it’s still the best job in the industry
Let’s be honest, working as an out-of-hours emergency vet is challenging. With unsociable hours and a diverse range of cases, a career in emergency and critical care will test your clinical and surgical skills. Yet with unpredictability comes opportunity.
People are our core
Working part time offers a solution that overcomes the usual challenges of being an out-of-hours clinician. Our vets can balance a career with a caring for a family, studying for an ECC certification or training for a marathon! We are a special breed at Vets Now and our people will always decide how our company develops and what path we take. In our Portsmouth clinic, you will be fully supported by our Principal Vet Surgeon, expert nurses and the non-clinical team and won’t be required to work sole charge.
With a vet surgeon role at Vets Now, you can nurture your skills with coaching from our UK network of veterinary experts. We pride ourselves in actively investing in CPD, with clear progression opportunities supported by our inclusive learning culture. We make a real impact on the wider profession by driving clinical research and, by joining the Vets Now family, you will be at the forefront of clinical excellence.
Portsmouth is a busy and successful clinic. We are looking for a part time registered veterinary surgeon to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings. The rota pattern will include weekend days and a share of bank holidays on a rolling rota basis.
