Working part time offers a solution that overcomes the usual challenges of being an out-of-hours clinician. In our Canterbury clinic, you will be fully supported by our Principal Vet Surgeon, expert nurses and the non-clinical team. You won’t be required to work sole charge.

The Canterbury veterinary team are motivated by driving clinical excellence and providing pet care at a time when it’s needed most. Being a vet surgeon will involve triage, emergency and lifesaving treatment. No two shifts will ever be the same.
Your Career

Canterbury is a very busy and successful clinic with state of the art new equipment. We are looking for a registered Veterinary Surgeon to work weekends and a share of bank holidays. Hours are Saturday 1500-2200 and Sunday/bank holidays 1100-2200. These hours can be split between two Vets working alternate weekends and we are open to discussing different rota patterns for the right candidate.
