Stand out from the crowd
Working part time offers a solution that overcomes the usual challenges of being an out-of-hours clinician. Our vets can balance a career with a caring for a family, studying for an ECC certification or training for a marathon! We are a special breed at Vets Now and our people will always decide how our company develops and what path we take. In our Canterbury clinic, you will be fully supported by our Principal Vet Surgeon, expert nurses and the non-clinical team. You won’t be required to work sole charge.
Delivering high standards
The Canterbury veterinary team are motivated by driving clinical excellence and providing pet care at a time when it’s needed most. Being a vet surgeon will involve triage, emergency and lifesaving treatment. No two shifts will ever be the same.
With a Vet Surgeon role at Vets Now, you can nurture your skills with coaching from our UK network of veterinary experts. We pride ourselves in actively investing in CPD, with clear progression opportunities supported by our inclusive learning culture. Canterbury is a very busy and successful clinic with state of the art new equipment. We are looking for a registered Veterinary Surgeon to work weekends and a share of bank holidays. Hours are Saturday 1500-2200 and Sunday/bank holidays 1100-2200. These hours can be split between two Vets working alternate weekends and we are open to discussing different rota patterns for the right candidate.
