Part Time Veterinary Surgeon Job – Hull
Total salary package £44,454 pro rata
Working nights and weekends? Yes, but it’s still the most rewarding job in the industry
Let’s be honest, working nights and weekends isn’t for everyone. The unsocial hours are challenging and the caseload is unpredictable. That’s why we need a certain calibre of surgeon to work for Vets Now Witham. We expect the best and won’t settle for anything less.
Exceptional standards of care
The Hull veterinary team are motivated by driving clinical excellence and providing pet care at a time when it’s needed most. Being a vet surgeon will involve triage, emergency and lifesaving treatment. No two shifts will ever be the same and you will be fully tested on both your medical and surgical skills in this role.
Continuous professional development
People are at the heart of what we do, that’s why we take a pioneering approach to people development. We have cemented our commitment to continuous development by heavily investing in CPD, ECC certification and coaching to give our staff the springboard they need to take their career to the next level.
Out-of-hours doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-reach
You will be fully supported by our nursing experts and non-clinical team. The wider network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.
Diverse and exciting caseload
We are looking for a MRCVS registered veterinary surgeon to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings. The rota pattern is predictable (120 shifts per annum) and shifts will be 15 hours long.
