Make a difference and save lives daily

Working part time offers a solution that overcomes the usual challenges of being an out-of-hours clinician. Our vets can balance a career with a caring for a family, studying for an ECC certification (just like one of our existing team) or training for a marathon! We are a special breed at Vets Now and our people will always decide how our company develops and what path we take.

Out-of-hours doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-reach.

You will be based at our Stoke clinic and be fully supported by our nursing experts and non-clinical team. The wider network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.

Your Opportunity.

We are looking for a MRCVS registered veterinary surgeon to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings. If you’re looking for routine operations and daytime hours, this isn’t the job for you.

The shift pattern (Saturday 5pm-11pm and Sunday 2pm-10pm) could be split between two vets to support working every other weekend. This unique role provides an opportunity to work alongside another vet in a busy ECC clinic to develop skills and enhance a career pathway.
