Make a difference and be the Vet Nurse you trained to be
Working unsocial hours isn’t for everyone. The caseload range is so diverse that it requires a special breed of nurse to meet the demands of the role.
People are our core
Working part time offers a solution that overcomes the usual challenges of being an out-of-hours clinician. Our nurses can balance a career with a caring for a family, studying for an ECC certification or training for a marathon! We are a special breed at Vets Now and our people will always decide how our company develops and what path we take.
Thamesmead is a very busy PDSA based clinic. We are looking for a part time registered veterinary nurse to relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings, especially during busy nights and weekends. Shift pattern is Monday to Sunday 1800-2300. We will consider applicants who can work a number of days and not necessarily all of them.
You’ll never be alone at Vets Now
Our supportive UK network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now. You will be fully supported in Thamesmead by our Principal Nurse Manager, expert Vet Surgeons and the non-clinical team.
Stand out from the crowd
We take pride and integrity in the work that we do and that’s why we are committed to investing in the career progression of our people. In return for your talent and commitment, we offer a CPD allowance of £750 per annum which can be allocated to various courses including enrolment on the accredited Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care. We also hold annual recognition awards and will cover VDS and RCVS fees.
