Your career

As a Triage Nurse in our Contact Centre you will be responsible for assisting a team of call handlers, in providing pet owners with guidance and appropriate next step recommendations.  You will work closely with the shift supervisors to deliver excellent customer service to our clients, liaise with our clinic teams and be on hand to discuss more detailed cases with pet owners.

Essentially this is a clinical role in a non-clinical environment.  Use your clinical knowledge to provide immediate reassurance and assistance for our clients at the time they need it most.

Your opportunity

We are looking for qualified, RCVS registered nurses who have a minimum of one-year post qualification experience working in a practice.  Exposure to OOH or emergency and critical care is mandatory.  You should be able demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to prioritise and plan on your own.

Exceptional client care skills are required, along with a good telephone manner and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.  We are looking for a Triage Nurse to work on average 20 hours per week with a mix of weeknights and weekends. Our open hours are from 07:45 on weekends and 17:45 weeknights closing at 01:00.  Shift times will be within these hours.
