Medicine Veterinary Nurse – Manchester

Salary up to £26,500 D.O.E

Our pet emergency hospital in Whitefield, Manchester, provides a 24/7 emergency service for pets and their owners in the Greater Manchester region. Our purpose-built hospital has the equipment and technology that you’d expect from a first-class veterinary hospital.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of nurses working in a challenging and supportive environment where you will be involved in preparing and assisting with medicine patient work-ups/investigations to include imaging (scope, ultrasound, radiograph, CT scan, fluoroscopy) and procurement of samples, blood profiles and dynamic testing and microscopy of blood smears and urine samples.

Your Career

You will work Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with a share of weekends which are typically 1:3. Weekend shifts are from 07:00 to 16:00 or 10:30 to 19:30. You will receive a day in lieu the week before and after your weekend on, you will also be required to work a share of bank holidays which will include Christmas and New Year.
