Internal Medicine Specialist

At Vets Now Manchester we have an opening for a Diplomate (ACVIM or ECVIM-CA) or Residency trained individual to join our team and lead our Internal Medicine service on a permanent basis. You will be working alongside other residency trained individuals and specialists in ECC, Cardiology, Soft tissue and Orthopaedic Surgery. You will be supported by a strong team of vets, interns and nurses allowing us to support you in achieving work-life balance.
Our hospital opened in December 2016 and has all the facilities expected of a new state of the art hospital including CT and visiting MRI. Our Specialists were actively involved in the design of the hospital and the layout facilitates management of our growing caseload. Manchester is a vibrant city in the northwest of England with good access to the north of England’s beautiful national parks. Manchester is also a global gateway, enjoying great air, rail and road transport services.
Vets Now is a veterinary owned and led business with a strong clinical culture and a focus on the delivery of the highest clinical and professional standards to our patients, clients and professional colleagues. We have 55 emergency clinics and 3 24 hour hospitals in the UK. As well as providing clinical care, our specialists are involved with our evidence based research group with the opportunity to make a wider difference to the profession.
This would suit someone looking for a full time position however hours and working pattern will be agreed to suit the successful candidate. Our package includes 6 week’s holiday and a generous CPD allowance with time off to study for boards if appropriate.
