Head Veterinary Nurse Job – Ilford

Total package up to £38,000 DOE

Delivering high standards in clinical excellence

Our Head Veterinary Nurses are leaders. Not only do they need to be at the top of their game clinically, but they also need to mentor and coach Registered Veterinary Nurses and clinical support staff. Dealing with both PDSA and private cases will allow you to fully utilise your surgical and medical skills – there’s no such thing as routine when it comes to Emergency and Critical Care.

That’s why we never get complacent

We take pride and integrity in the work that we do and that’s why we are committed to investing in the career progression of our people. We offer a generous CPD allowance, with various courses on offer including enrolment on the accredited Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in ECC. For those more experienced candidates, support is available to gain the VTS (ECC). We will also cover RCVS and VDS fees

Working nights and weekends? Yes, but you won’t get the diverse caseload anywhere else

Our supportive UK network of emergency clinics and hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. In Ilford, you will be fully supported by our District Manager and Veterinary Surgeons. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.
