We are delighted to now be inviting applications for our 3 year residency program in Small Animal Emergency & Critical Care leading towards the ECVECC Diploma.

Vets Now Referrals Glasgow is one of only five veterinary hospitals to offer an ECVECC approved ECC residency programme. The multidisciplinary hospital has an established and busy emergency OOH service working with specialists and referral clinicians in areas including ECC, internal medicine, surgery and oncology. State-of-the-art facilities and equipment, combined with a high case load and inter-departmental collaboration, ensure an excellent learning environment. The resident will be supported in completing the ECVECC publication requirements with a particular focus on evidence based medicine and access to our database of over 150,000 emergency cases/year.

Requirements include:

A recognised veterinary degree, RCVS membership
A 1 year rotating internship or equivalent experience
A good standard of written and spoken English

Details

Salary: £25,000pa
Start date: Employment in the hospital will commence in May 2018 to give you time in Surgery and Medicine before the Residency starts in July.
