We are seeking a Clinical Administrator/Receptionist to be a key member of our team in Worcester.
Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will manage key administrative duties within the clinic including banking, debt control, managing the reception rota and will be asked to perform other administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
You will also be required to undertake receptionist duties for part of your hours. This will require you to be in a customer facing position dealing with clients in emergency situations via phone or face to face. You may be required to assist the vet nurse where needed on medicine administration, animal restraint, cleaning animal areas and feeding.
You will be an integral part of the team required for the smooth running of the clinic.
This is an Out-Of-Hours Role and the hours will be in the evenings, weekend days and nights and on bank holidays.
16 hours per week.
5 of these hours will be undertaken doing clinical administrator duties and some of the 5 hours must be worked on a Monday to cover banking.
The remaining 11 hours will be to cover receptionist duties and will include working evenings and weekends as part of a rolling 4 week pattern.
Qualifications & Skills
You will be an organised administrator and receptionist, who is IT literate and a calm and confident communicator. Experience in a veterinary practice is preferred but not essential.
£7.50 per hour
