Our out-of-hours clinic in Middlesbrough could not function without our Animal Care Assistants. They are a vital component in caring for our patients and clients alike, and our clinical team could not save lives daily without the dedicated ability of an Animal Care Assistant.

An Animal Care Assistant job isn’t for the faint hearted. Not only will you be hands-on in surgeries but you will also be required to assist the nursing team in caring for, walking, feeding and cleaning our animals. It takes a certain skill set and calibre to thrive in this high pressured environment and we will not settle for second best.

Your opportunity

We are looking for a candidate that has a genuine passion for animals and can commit to working the following rota pattern. Ideally you will have hands on experience and have or be working towards an animal related qualification.

Week 1: Monday to Friday from 18:30 to 00:30

Week 2: Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 09:00, Saturday 14:00 to 23:00 and Sunday 10:00 to 22:00

Week 3: Off
